Scottie Scheffler wins the Arnold Palmer Invitational 2024!

The World Number 1 golfer blew the rest of the competition away and won the Arnold Palmer Invitational by an impressive 5 shots, the largest winning margin at the tournament since Tiger Woods finished 5 shots ahead of second-placed Greame McDowell in 2012. 

Scottie Scheffler carded a bogey free final round 66 (-6) to take home the top spot. The American Birdied holes 1, 6, 10, 10, 15 and 16.

After posting a final overall score of 273 (-15), Scottie Scheffler walks away with $4,000,000 in prize money and 700 FEDEX CUP points.

In second place came 2023 US Open winner Wyndham Clark. He carded a total 278 (-10) after shooting a final round of 70 (-2).

In third place, was Irishman Shane Lowry who shot an overall 279 (-9), trending in the right direction for the upcoming majors after finishing T4 at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches last week.
