This year’s field of 59 players will take to the Kapalua Plantation Course on January 4th in a bid to become the first champion of the season. This event is unique in the fact that it only includes winner from the previous year’s PGA tour events. This calibre of field combined with the long but incredibly scorable Plantation Course makes for a very exciting event to watch every year.

What is the Kapalua Plantation Course like?

The Sentry Tournament of Champions takes place at The Kapalua Plantation Course in Maui, Hawaii. Designers by renowned course designers Bill Coore and two-time masters champion Ben Crenshaw, this par-73 golf course has wide fairway, large greens, and amazing lookouts of the Pacific Ocean. The course is 7,596 yards long from the championship tees. The course always makes for a special viewing experience for people watching PGA Tour events.

Colin Morikawa came in second place with an overall score of 267 (-25).
